Data and purposes

The application processes account data received through Google OAuth, technical and security logs, restaurant source files you upload, generated reports, workbook metadata, and browser preferences. This data is used to provide and protect the service. Google Analytics loads in the application only with consent. This blog does not currently load Google Analytics.

Providers

FoodSaver uses Google for authentication and optional Analytics, AWS S3 for private source-file and workbook storage when needed, and hosting and database providers for the application. These providers may process data outside your country under their applicable transfer mechanisms.

Retention and rights

Account data and content are retained while the account is active or as needed to provide the service. Anonymous and free source files are deleted after processing. Pro report storage, when enabled, is private, ownership-scoped, and time-limited.

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Contact us using the details above; we may verify your identity.
